Farfetch

Design system

My role at Farfetch

I worked with Farfetch as a contractor on their E-commerce Design System team, where I played a key role in shaping the future of their checkout and product page experiences. My primary focus was on redesigning, testing, and documenting new components for the design system, with an emphasis on creating solutions that were scalable, accessible, and aligned with Farfetch’s premium brand identity.

Although I’m only able to share limited visuals due to confidentiality agreements, my contributions included:

  • Redesigning core checkout flows to reduce friction and improve clarity, making the purchase experience smoother and more intuitive for customers.

  • Reworking product page components to better showcase luxury products while maintaining consistency with the design system.

  • Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and QA to test and refine components, ensuring high usability standards.

  • Documenting components in the design system to make them easy to adopt, scale, and maintain across multiple teams and touchpoints.

Through this work, I helped evolve Farfetch’s checkout and product pages into more cohesive, user-friendly, and brand-consistent experiences—supporting both short-term business goals and long-term scalability of their design system.
